Ritchey Trail Masters Details

The Ritchey TrailMasters is a 3 day event which will take place on the 24-26th May 2013 and can be done either as the whole three day package or as a single day event.

For the three day event we offer three different entry packages – let us start with those.

Bronze Package – Price £ 175 (per rider)
And this is what you get for your money:
• 3 days riding including 6 special stages (approx. over all distance 220km)
• Course is fully marshalled, marked and has roaming medical cover
• Chip timing
• Free usage of service stations out on course
• Finishing jersey
• Free course material
• Free usage of facilities
• Free camping from Thursday (23rd May) to Monday (27th May) – you are welcome to bring a camper van / mobile home / caravan

Silver Package – Price £ 225 (per rider)
And this is what you get for your money:
• All of the above PLUS breakfast, lunch & dinner starting from Friday morning all the way through to Sunday night, breakfast and dinner will be served in the event village while lunch will be out on course

Gold Package – Price £ 250 (per rider)
And this is what you get for your money:
• All of the above (Silver Package)
• Plus the loan of a 2-3 man (per rider) tent which is erected when you arrive on site

If you prefer to stay in a ‘proper’ bed over the duration of the event then please book your accommodation directly. You are not required to stay at the event over night. For further details and room availability please contact:

Alternative to the full three day ticket you can also come along and take part in the TrailMasters for just one day. The day we have open for ‘day riders’ is the Saturday (25th May) of the event weekend.

Here we offer just one Package – the Day Rider;
Which costs £ 75 (per rider) and includes the following:
• 1 day riding including 2 special stages (approx. over all distance 80km)
• Course is fully marshalled, marked and has roaming medical cover
• Chip timing
• Free usage of service stations out on course
• Finishing T-shirt
• Free course material
• Free usage of facilities
• Free camping from Friday (24th May) to Sunday (26th May) – you are welcome to bring a camper van / mobile home / caravan
• Breakfast, lunch & dinner starting from Saturday morning all the way through to Saturday night

Support crews and families and obviously for riders as well!
We welcome support crews and families to join us at the TrailMasters and providing you are coming with a participating rider your stay and use of facilities is for free. We will have a broad program in place for everybody who is staying in the event village during the day to make the days as exciting, relaxing and active as you want to make them. We will have:
• Test courses and test bikes available all day
• A marked mountain bike and road loop if you fancy going for a little spin plus some info material if you fancy venturing a little further
• A fun cross country run on Saturday (TBC)
• Kids entertainment and kids activities
• Kids races
• Catering facilities all day
• Bar on site
• Chill out areas
• Films
• Coffee van (not FOC)

All of the activities and services are free of charge if you are with a participating rider. A food only voucher (breakfast / lunch / dinner) is also available for the three days at a price of £50. This has to be purchased at registration.

Categories:
The TrailMasters will have the following categories (all male and female):
• Open pairs (for riders from 18years upwards – average age below 40years)
• Vets pairs (for riders from 18years upwards – average age above 40years)
• Open mixed pairs (for riders from 18years upwards – average age below 40years)
• Vets mixed pairs (for riders from 18years upwards – average age above 40years)
• Open solo (for riders from 18-39years)
• Vets solo (for riders 40+years)
Rankings will be given in all categories and all categories will have day winners as well as over all winners. The day winners will be rewarded with prizes and the overall winners and leaders will be rewarded with cash prizes. There will be no further age categories. If there are less than five teams or solo riders in a category the category might be amalgamated into another category. This will be announced before the start of the event.

Registration for 3–day event:
Registration will be open on Thursday 23rd May 2013 between 6.00pm – 9.00pm and on Friday 24th May between 8.00am – 10.00am at the Royal Wales Showground in Builth Wells (signposted).

Registration for 1-day event:
Registration will be on Friday 24th May 2013 between 6.00pm – 9.00pm and on 18th August between 7.00am – 8.00am at the Royal Wales Showground in Builth Wells (signposted). If you expect to arrive later than times specified, please call us on + 44 (0) 7976 586418.
